Every persons and organizations, who manufacture, import, sell and repair weights, measures, weighing or measuring instruments must be register under Measurement Units, Standards and Services Act, No 35 of 1995.
There are two types of registration namely new registration and license renewal. Every registration belongs to four categories.
- Repair License
- Manufacture License
- Import and selling License
- Selling License
All above license should be renew once a year and every license valid from 01st January to 31st December of the relevant year.
